把刀,本名柯景騰,是台灣最受歡迎的小說家之一,因提交小說作為研究所入學申請的一部份,發現自己的創作天賦,自此開始全力投入小說寫作。九把刀維持每日寫作5000字的習慣,作為一位多產的作家,他曾連續14個月每月出版一本新書。自2000年在網上出版第一本書開始,九把刀已經創作60餘本書,其中許多更是成為華語地區的最暢銷書籍。他的作品風格多變,寫作題材包括武俠、科幻、愛情、友誼、搞笑、恐怖、懸疑,各式各樣應有盡有。

Giddens Ko, one of Taiwan’s best-selling authors, better known by his pen name Jiu ba dao, started his prolific career when he wrote a short story as part of his application to get into a local graduate school. It was then that he discovered his talent for writing.

His most talked about achievements include writing 5,000 words everyday and publishing 14 novels in as many months.

Since year 2000, he has already published more than 60 novels, many of which have topped the best-seller chart in Chinese speaking regions. His genres include martial art, sci-fi, love stories, friendship, comedies, thrillers, and suspense that exemplify the huge diversity of Jiu ba dao's novel writing.

寒,出生於上海,是中國當代青年的意見領袖。具有多重身份的他,是目前中國內地文壇備受矚目的小說家、網絡寫手,也是中國最著名的職業拉力賽車手。2010年4月,韓寒被美國《時代週刊》評為“全球最具影響力100人”之一。

高二就退學的韓寒,基於自身經歷發表的第一部小說《三重門》使其在中國一舉成名,并引發社會關於素質教育政策的激烈討論。熱愛賽車運動的韓寒,在其廣受歡迎的博客中發表文章,針砭時事,嬉笑怒駡,鮮明地體現他獨立的思想。

Han Han, born in Shanghai, is an opinion leader with multiple identities including best-selling author; professional rally driver; and China’s most popular blogger. In April 2010, American magazine Time put Han Han in the list of "Time 100 most influential people".

Han Han's first novel, "Three Steps to Heaven", based on his personal experience as a high school dropout in Shanghai, became a best seller in China and sparked a debate about the quality of the country's rigid education system. An avid rally car driver, he writes a mega-popular blog that pokes fun at prominent cultural figures and incompetent officials.

靖夫,新一代武俠小說作家,本身也是習武之人,習的是空手道和菲律賓魔杖。1969 年出生,在大學唸翻譯系的他,寫過不少偵探小說,重點描寫權力和世道的殘酷。他熱愛武術,十年前開始武俠小說的創作,他的武俠小說所寫的,是「武道」,並非為打而打。在他的作品中,時常強調武術精神比功架更重要,要挑戰自己,對自己有要求,不斷提升,才是武術的最高境界。

A new generation swordsman fiction writer, Qiao practices martial arts - specifically karate and Philippian wand. Born in 1969, Qiao studied translation in university and wrote many detective stories. Earthly power and cruelty are the recurring themes in his work.

Passionate about martial arts, Qiao started writing swordsman fiction a decade ago. ‘The moral of martial arts’ runs through these stories, with purposes behind all action scenes. Qiao emphasizes on the importance of 'the spirit of martial arts', that it is a way to challenge and elevate oneself. He considers this as the highest level of martial arts.
